Your former employer needs to notify you of your new options to pay the reduced premium by April 17, 2009. They will be sending you forms that the federal government is in the process of finalizing. It would be a good idea to contact your former employer to ensure they have your most current contact information. REMEMBER - you must continue to pay the full amount of your premium until you are notified that you are enrolled in the premium reduction program. If you stop paying the full amount, you may be dropped from coverage. Anything that you overpay between now and when you are enrolled in the program will be credited back to you
