Lt. Governor Elizabeth Roberts is proud to join with community and corporate sponsors in conjunction with the Rhode Island National Guard and Rhode Island's Family Assistance Center to present Operation Holiday Cheer 2011. Operation Holiday Cheer gives Rhode Island residents and businesses a chance to give back to the troops serving abroad with care packages at the holidays.

The holiday season is a time for joy, a time for peace, a time for giving thanks for the gifts that we have been given. For Rhode Island's brave men and women serving abroad and for their families sacrificing here at home, the holidays can make the time even more difficult. These care packages are the least we can do to show our thanks and remember the troops' continued service to our nation

What can you do?
